THE GARDEN OF MY MIND

Smaller than a pinhead seen on this post-it note, one of these amaranth
seeds grew this incredible flowering giant loaded with millions of seeds!
Amaranth is called the "Grain of the Gods."

Growing a garden is a fabulous living example of how the thoughts we think create matter, from tiny seeds to the most spectacular vegetables, herbs and fruit and trees. Even the greatest living giants come from tiny seeds. Giant things in our lives are created from the tiniest thoughts, ideas springing forth from the ether. Some such giants conquer nations, others their own little worlds. Discipline rules, the discipline of focus on our goals.

Of course I'm speaking of such giants as Walt Disney, Henry Ford and Bill Gates, but even Napoleon sums it up this way: "I see only the objective, all obstacles must give way."

Therefore what we want to grow must be very clear to us. Either we are in an attitude (vibration) of what we want, or what we do not want. The mind is so powerful that our unconscious thoughts are also created. Just like weeds in the garden, we must pluck them out and replace them with the desired seeds or plants until there's no room for any weeds to grow. Eventually any trace of the weeds are removed. In our body, it is said that we literally replace our DNA. In our outer world we achieve the results we want, that which we desire. We reap what we sow.

"All that you accomplish or fail to accomplish with your life is the direct result of your thoughts."
-- James Allen

Now, there is something to understand about our unconscious thoughts, those that are outside of our awareness. The results of them show up in our lives and that is how we know they exist. We literally are creating it all for ourselves, so the fact is, that when we see results of what we don't want, we must figure out what those unconscious fears, thoughts of scarcity or core beliefs are and if possible, where they come from. When "sh*t happens" as the saying goes, we can understand that this is a gift, so we can let the thoughts that created it go. We must explore and zero in on what these beliefs are, where they came from, i.e. what experience we had or who we adopted them from, and then get rid of them. There are many excellent tools to do this and it is not difficult. I can help you. Many experts trained in clearing techniques can help you. And you might be able to figure out how to do them yourself. When we ask our Higher Self to bring these answers to center stage for clearing, they are delivered, and when we listen, open to receive, we can clear easily and readily.

In awareness we understand what comes up, do the clearing exercises to eliminate bad-habit-thought patterns then replace them with the big thoughts of our big dreams, our deepest desires. Just like weeding the garden! Frequently they bubble up on their own from deep within, surfacing for our improvement, our increase, not only because we ask for it, but because growth or increase is the natural order of the Universe. We can actually appreciate our negative core issues. I happily say "thank you for showing me what I need to release today!" And kiss them goodbye!

Our past feeds us as we evolve into who we are becoming. All serves us. As Henry Ford stated, "Even a mistake may turn out to be the one thing necessary to a worthwhile achievement." And as Napoleon Hill said, "No man ever achieved worth-while success who did not, at one time or other, find himself with at least one foot hanging well over the brink of failure."

So back in the garden of my mind, I imagine what I'd like my creation to look like.

First the plot and soil must be assessed, then prepared. The health of the soil and its living nutrients (mindset or core belief structure) are determined, then rocks, debris, blocks and old growth (unconscious thoughts and bad-habit patterns) removed. This phase is the greatest energy expenditure requirement for a garden. Next the harmony is increased, the ph balance can be adjusted with added richness: compost (seasoned professionals), minerals and nutrients (experiential learning), and lightening components such as vermiculite (training sessions). Before you know it, the soil is ready for planting. Often the old growth weeds pop up before you know it.

Next is continuous planting of the new and pulling out of the old until nothing but the new desired plants or thoughts remain. Consistent persistent thoughts, feelings and energy in motion on nothing but the new desired results! It works and we can never give up because that's the way it works. Discipline rules! The discipline of focus on our objective, that which we want. The discipline of our own mind. As James Ray teaches the key is the disciplined versus the undisciplined mind. Plant gratitude, love, outrageous joy and heart's desires!

I plant the healthiest specimens of my favorite varieties, my heart's deepest desires. I appreciate and tend to my sprouts, seedlings, young and maturing plants daily and constantly water and nourish as needed. As a result I harvest. It is my great reward to receive that which I have sown. I have done the work to produce excellent results and can now enjoy the feast, the fruit, the results of energy well intended, attended to and invested in.

From thought to result each and every moment is of our choosing.

"First comes thought; then organization of that thought, into ideas and plans; then transformation of those plans into reality. The beginning, as you will observe, is in your imagination ... All the breaks you need in life wait within your imagination. Imagination is the workshop of your mind, capable of turning mind energy into accomplishment and wealth."
-- Napoleon Hill

I am creating it all!
